Meet our February Staff Spotlight, Simon Nowak (PE, LEED AP BD+C, CEM). Simon is a professional engineer with over 10 years of experience in the mechanical and energy engineering field. He is skilled in performing and managing commissioning, retro-commissioning, energy audits and LEED projects for the residential, commercial, industrial, institutional and government sectors. Prior to his employment at 360 Energy Group, Simon worked as a contractor for ComEd where he analyzed over 450 City of Chicago buildings including O’Hare International Airport Terminals 1,2, and 3 for electrical energy savings improvements. In his current role as the Engineering Director for 360, Simon manages numerous high-profile energy assessment and retro-commissioning projects, performs full building energy assessments and retro-commissioning analyses, and manages our team of engineers. Thank you for all your hard work Simon!


Where are you from? I am from Chicago and my parents are from Poland


What is your favorite part of your job? Seeing the young engineers learn and grow. Views from high rises while inspecting rooftop units.


What are some of your hobbies outside of work? Snowboarding, yoga, barbell training


What is your favorite color? Orange
