360 Energy Group is excited to reveal our updated proven results. We have worked incredibly hard to produce the numbers you see here, and we couldn’t be more thankful to have you along for the journey. Because of your commitment to energy efficiency, we have assessed over 140 million square feet, completed over 800 energy assessments, and performed over 370 retro-commissioning studies. Through the identification of both capital and operational improvements, we have helped our customers cut energy spending drastically with an identified annual cost savings of over $45 million. Because we work largely with community buildings and municipalities, our customers can divert these funds to more pressing matters such as new park district programs, new library employees, or more village improvements.
Aside from the cost benefits for our customers, our energy efficiency efforts have made a positive impact on the environment. Our identified energy savings can help offset the emissions of roughly 66,000 people driving for a year. In total, we’ve avoided over 200 million pounds of carbon dioxide from being emitted into the atmosphere, which is the equivalent of nearly 130,000 acres of U.S. forest converting CO2 into oxygen per year.
We hope to boost these numbers even more in 2019 by identifying and completing more capital and operational energy improvements. Are you interested in energy efficiency but have no idea where to start? Get a free energy assessment. Our engineers will recommend a list of energy saving measures for your facility ranging from lighting upgrades to HVAC optimizations. To learn more about reducing your energy consumption operationally, consider retro-commissioning. Similar to an energy assessment, our engineers will analyze your energy data and compile a list of energy saving recommendations. Each recommendation will be a low-cost operational improvement such as fine-tuning your building schedules or scaling back temperature setpoints. For more information on retro-commissioning, contact our Senior Program Manager, Ryan Curry, at 312-267-2864 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
