Simon is a Professional Engineer and has over 10 years of experience in the Mechanical and Energy Engineering Field. He is highly skilled in performing and managing commissioning, retro-commissioning, energy audits and LEED projects from a variety of diverse sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and government. At 360EG, Simon manages numerous high-profile energy assessment and retro-commissioning projects, including those at Navy Pier in Chicago, and performs full-building energy assessments and retro-commissioning analyses for buildings of all types and sizes. Previous to his employment at 360EG, Simon worked as a contractor for ComEd where he analyzed over 450 City of Chicago buildings, including O’Hare International Airport Terminals 1, 2, and 3, for electrical energy savings improvements. Simon has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has earned several other engineering and green building credentials including Certified Energy Manager, Building Commissioning Professional and LEED Accredited Professional with Specialization in Building Design and Construction.
