A new update for Google Maps is adding a very welcome feature for electric vehicle owners: location data for fast charging stations. Charging stations have been available on Maps for a while, but this update adds the ability to filter specifically for fast charging stations. This comes on the heels of an earlier update that allows users to filter by plug compatibility. Fast charging stations have chargers that hit 50kW or higher. This update is available for both iPhone and Android, and in all countries where EV charging stations are accessible.
