IKEA has announced the addition of over 200 fast electric vehicle (EV) chargers to more than 25 stores in 18 states. Electrify Commercial, the business division of Electrify America, will implement the charging infrastructure. Ikea US is working towards zero emissions home delivery by 2025, and halved customer and employee emissions by 2030.
Javier Quiñones, CEO and Chief Sustainability Officer for IKEA US said: “This collaboration with Electrify America will not only bring ultra-fast public chargers to our stores for the first time but it will also help us take a big leap as we work towards our targets to become circular and climate-positive.”
